From a Scot, I'm curious where Bush fits in to all this? For a mountain time zone teen in the 90s, Bush fit right in. But I'm guessing that the world maybe didn't see that in the same manner.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

That band is an interesting bellwether. I get it.

I remember trading my Bush cd for a Rusted Root cd with a buddy at USAFA. I'm not sure who came out ahead in that transaction. The Bush cd is better, I was just too fetishist in my listening style. It had to be utterly new, and while I was early to Bush, I was pretentious enough to want to distance myself from the band just as fast. Now that I think about it all I think is that, damn that kid and his ego.

    You ever heard of NoMeansNo?

    Sorry, I can't stop talking.

I'd say it's time to give Modest Moussorgsky a chance. Or, Obituary. If those don't seem right, how about Liz Phair?

    Maybe Mark David Manders?

You can never go wrong with Chopin.

    Wait. I know.

Kinger, slake that abyssal void with this quenching nectar of doom.

    I wasn't a huge fan of nirvana.

Dave's probably pumped for the Oasis reunion.

My wife brought a CD home from the library from a band called Houndmouth, so far I'm pretty impressed.
