One of the MANY things I miss about Sons of Anarchy....the music.

I started watching the series again. It's crazy to watch through the 2nd time knowing how it all ends. Sutter ties so many things up in each episode from the start, stuff I didn't catch the first go around.

Can't wait for their second album. Killing me with how long it's taking.

yea, thanks, i know. . . and that's the whole album, not just a song. . . thought we'd been over this? i have all sorts of rock in my collection, i listen to all kinds of stuff (you know, other than country). . . i grew up listening to nothing but metal and rock back in the 80's. . . anthrax, megadeth, metallica, early pantera, corrosion of conformity, savatage, suicidal tendencies, ministry, faith no more, etc. . . shit, man, gwar at newport in '91 or '92 was one of my earlier concerts-- i was actually legitimately metal back in the day. . .

i just got bored with it. . . hate to be all gramps, but it's mostly because none of these effers can sing a bit-- it's all just incoherent yelling. . . "ruh-ruh-ruh, ruh-ruh-ruh!" and hammer away at a couple of power cords. . . i mean, the guy seems like a supreme douchebag, but at least hetfield actually has a decent voice. . . plus i think all the satanism and stuff is hoaky-- i could never get into slayer, i always thought they were a bunch of cheesebags, no matter what the music sounded like. . . same thing for trent reznor and all his crap angst, actually. . .

but yea, i do still listen to harder stuff occasionally. . . these guys were recommended by two different friends, so i checked it out. . . not bad-- basically a sabath replica w/o the songwriting, but at least it sounds decent. . . i like flyleaf because they actually have a real singer-- wish their music wasn't so fluffly, though. . .
