    Great album, great song.

    My favorite from that album.

Also love Guns of Brixton and Train in Vain. That album is amazing.

Ok. I often do this, make these way obscure references and assume that others will get them. It's this disease that I assume that people care about the things I care about.

So, there's this link between all these songs I post.

Clash lead singer Joe Strummer inspires Minutemen's D Boon and Mike Watt, and Minutemen inspire Brad's Sublime, who were also inspired by Milo's Descendants. In Descendants Milo Goes to College album (and some other Descendants albums) they use this device of songs with names that end in -age. Any Descendants fan would get it (wtf pudge).

Eg, Myage, Marriage, Bikeage, etc etc

    Lineage. Get it?

CNN's The Sixties series did an episode over 60s music, more specifically the British invasion. It's definitely worth the watch. Lotsa good Beatles stuff as well as many others. At one point there's what I can only assume is footage of Mick Jagger and Graham Nash arguing over whether rock can be deep and serious.
