I really like this song, I think it's been around a while but I just recently found it. I don't listen to pop/country radio so I miss a lot of stuff and find it late.

This is a great one, and the video is amazeballs. Shows just how big the Man in Black's reach really was. One of my big regrets, music show attendence wise, was never seeing him play live.

The Smashing Pumpkins are releasing their 3 Act 33 song Prog Rock Opera on May 5th and just dropped a new video for the third single Empires. This is notable because its the same dude who directed their I Am One and Cherub Rock videos back in the day. Includes a little bit of footage from their most recent tour, Empires was the opener for the show I saw and sounded great live:
If you want to hear the first two acts they have a playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bYi...Pumpkins-Topic
Standout tracks for me so far are Beguiled, Embracer, With Ado I Do, Steps in Time, Moss, and Night Waves. Cool mix of synths, rock thumpers, and Pink Floyd-esque star gazing. Definitely not for everyone but I dig that they continue to do their own thing.
Thats probably their best song in a long time.
A Murder by Death song.
@chaz
I looked up the chords for that one and did this--piano and melody.

I am actually super proud/stoked because that's just me pulling up the chords and giving it a go. And it's not awful, and it's a different key than the original (down a half step).
Some folks probably can do that by ear or sound better, but this made my night.
Chaz might be the only one who knows the song.

I'm in a songwriter/singer (note the order) kick right now. Cody Jinks has been the highlight of this trip me and my son just took near your neck of the woods (I just got home driving straight from parts beyond Reudi res).
Tyler Childers and Colter Wall too, but especially Jinks. He can write a gottam song.
