I miss NUB
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
That self titled Third Eye Blind album is unexpectedly really good.
It's incredible. The one with Jumper and Semi-Charmed and so on? It's one of my most-listened albums, and def the most listened of '97. That was right after I graduated and had my first apartment. (Wildflowers maybe was more listened. And also another super indie album that I won't mention.)
Rick Beato's analysis of Semi-Charmed makes you wonder why they didn't jizz their pop brilliance all over the universe, because it was so fire...

1. It looped while I played Final Fantasy VII on PS2...it had enough time to grow on me. It would finish and I'd be like...hm. Actually, I don't need a new cd.
2. It was sneaky good and full of zany ideas
3. It's super tight, musically--so tight that I don't understand why they didn't become huge
