I appreciate autotune as a mechanism for making sound and music. It can be used and done well.

I jizz over a good harmony.

I don't want to come across as a troglodyte. Autotune itself is just another form of expression, Brian Eno would approve, etc. It's a rant against airbrushed perfection across the board, how it warps real exchange.

I do prefer imperfect singers who don't try to hide their imperfections with autotune. Gimme something real

It's super interesting though. You know how "unreal" the song Rain is, probably? John's pitched up vocals, and the slowed-down backing track? That's maybe my favorite song of all time. Or close. Definitely close if not #1 at this stage of my life and all points in between.

That's the best thing I've heard in the last five years.

You know what sucks is remembering a song then forgetting it at the same time. Then you sit there searching for that song. I guess I’m at that point. I loved 90s and early 2000s music, especially grunge music, only to forget.

Great timing. Just last night, I spent a chunk of time trying to remember the name of some obscure artist that I liked one song from a long time ago. Thought not back as far as the 90s. Damn, we got old.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Man, I’ll be sleeping soundly then a sound pops into my head I thought was awesome and I’ll wake up out of a deep sleep. My wife tells me I got married too early and unfinished business, but I disagree. I’m right where I belong. It doesn’t hurt to reminisce.

Probably both right. You won't catch me questioning your wife's wisdom, and you were anxious to become a family man -- but everyone gets some nostalgia from time to time.

Ben Folds doesn't get enough respect. This is a fvckton of sound from a three-piece.
