Thread: what are you listening to???

New Mastodon is awesome.

I know I've posted this before but I just don't think song writing getting gets any better than this. If there was a song that represented my wife and I this is it.

It's a John Prime night. Who am I kidding, every night is a John Prime night.

John Prine is the Shel Silverstein of songwriting. Yes I know Shel Silverstein wrote songs (he wrote A Boy Named Sue) but my point is still valid.

Stupid autocorrect turning Prine into Prime. Have some respect you digital circuit *******.

I guess because of when and where I grew up but this song instantly makes me 16 years old again. My wife and I met at Strawberry Days in Glenwood which essentially the same as a county fair. Holy crap, this song could be my ticket to living forever, how can I die if I'm only 17 years old.

I was never into Marilyn Manson, but I kinda like “The Beautiful People”. I may have to look up more of his songs.
