Default What movies get a pass from you?

I just posted a review of The Last Dragon in the Last Movie You Saw and Rate It thread and it got me thinking. It is not a very good movie by any means, but its still a 9/10 for me because I loved it as a kid and it is goofy fun. So in other words, it gets a PASS from me no matter what. What movies that are not so good get a Pass from you? These are movies that you will watch on TBS no matter how many times you've seen it or how bad they are because you just like them for whatever reason. Not the best movies, but a movie you like no matter what anyone says. Here are some more of my movies that get my PASS:

    Neverending Story
    Big Trouble in Little China
    Robocop 1 and 2
    Starship Troopers
    Pretty in Pink
    Harry and the Hendersons
    Ghoulies
    C.H.U.D.
    Leperchaun
    Puppetmaster
    Phantasm
    Mannequin
    The Goonies
    Con Air
Tales From the Darkside the Movie
    Canonball Run
    Four Rooms

Starship Troopers definitely is probably on my list.

I love cheesy Sci-Fi Channel movies...watch them all the time, even though they suck.

Neverending Story was a great movie

Anything directed by Kevin Smith sans Jersey Girl...although Dogma really is brilliant...the others probably aren't.

Christmas Story...let's face it...it's not THAT good...but you can't not watch it on Christmas Day.

Breakfast Club - It's four kids sitting in freaking detention bitching about their lives! But, it's awesome.

Horror movies past the first installment of the series...

I'm sure there are a zillion more.

    Patton
    We Were Soldiers
    Platoon
    Good Morning Veitnam
    Green Berets (John Wayne)
    The Alamo (John Wayne)
    Midway (Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda)

I'm sure i could think of a hundred more but i'm having a brain fart right now, sorry.

I dunno...those are some pretty damn good movies...I would put Platoon, Good Morning Vietnam, Patton and Midway on the Best War Movies list...

A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation are the new classics!

Also anything by Kevin Smith is also good...

OK, My Cousin Vinny was solid, i'll retract that MB. Now that you made me think harder.

But Dark Crystal was not so good, but, still gets a pass.

    Alright i'm done in here.
