Or does this suspension cover everything that he has been accused of to date including the recent traffic infraction?

What bothers me about the whole deal is that Marshawn Lynch wasn't suspended/sanctioned at all.
Thats what im saying!! Marshawn Lynch is guilty of a hit and run while he was drunk. Didnt get punished for nothing.

Matt Jones felony drugs with him and only gets 4 games.

Patriots OL....300 Illegal oxy cotten pills. FBI on his case and has not been suspended yet.

Goodell is just so inconsistant its not funny. When he first started out i thought he was doing some good trying to put his foot down.

Its looking like he has put his foot down n some deep shit and it stinks.

Marshall DUI that he has not been convicted of and he gets suspended.

I still hate Goodell. Worst thing thats happened to the NFL.

Yes, I am torn on this. On the one hand he has done some stupid things (DUI, pulling his car in behind his girlfriends cap and being arrested for 'imprisonment', etc.), but when you consider people get only 4 games for failing multiple drug tests (two failures I believe) along with some other suspensions, non-suspensions that have taken place, it seems this is a bit over the top.

The other factor is whether or not Marshall is shooting straight about the ex-girlfriend being out to destroy him. The problem is there probably is a tone that we don't know about.

As a dude, I think counseling is a waste of time in most cases. But He does have anger issues, and if this helps for years to come, well I can take the 2 games.
Thanks MO for the wicked Sig.

Probably, but if he declines the counseling that would pretty much tell me all i need to know about Brandons future as a NFL player.

Whats the first thing a hoodrat does when her BF makes it big time? You know about her asking him " When are you going to propose to me" right?

Whats the first thing a hoodrat does when a guy who they was with who is on the road to riches and cut her off?

She loses her mind and tryes to throw as many things as possible at him.

There might be some crap we dont know but trust me I know hoodrats all too well from way to many experiences.

Convictions really have nothing to do with it because the other 85% of the league doesnt get into the kind of trouble that some of these guys do on a regular basis. And yes, i believe the suspension is because of the AMOUNT of trouble that he is finding, not just a DUI.
And keep in mind that Pacman has never been convicted of anything...

Yea, i know you dont care for him. I think he should take the class to try and better himself. But even if it is just to cut one game down from his suspension at least it would SHOW that he gives a damn. And right now, his image needs all the help it can get.

Exactly. I think what Goodell is trying to show is that people can make mistakes (Lynch) but when you constantly find trouble whether your the reason or not it shows a pattern of behavior that Goodell doesnt want associated with the NFL. It doesnt take a lot to make me shocked but when Jones met with Goodell after having a couple of issues already and then the next morning was arrested at yet another strip club all i could do was laugh. You just cant be that stupid as a player and not expect someone to show you the door for good or temporarily.

I really dont think his image is that bad though, Hes actually a good guy who was just caught in a bad relationship. Those type of relationships leave the house with you. As i said earlier its almost like after awhile you start to feel like drama and chaos is normal.

Thats never good. m just glad the hoodrat is out of his life. From here on out everything is on his shoulders.

That's not how most of the football world views it...

Understandable but what about Chris Henry who is coming off a a year or 8 game suspension? Dude goes and finds more trouble and only gets 4 games. What in the world is that about with Goodell? SHouldnt Henry had got a year this tme? Goodell waited untill Henry was proven NOT GUILTY and gave him a lesser penalty.

He jumped the gun with Brandon though.

His teammates do though. And to be honest there the only ones who matter. The Broncos are the underdogs of the NFL.

The media and everybody else hates us. We walk alone. But we will walk tall this year.

OK...whatever. Its not worth arguing with you, but trust me...that is not how this situation is viewed. And that's exactly why he got a suspension.

I dont know, thats why i say every situation is different for each player. I have no idea how Goodell decides his punishments. But im still glad that he isnt sitting by and letting them run rampant either. I think it only fair to give Goodell some time to find the right method to his madness. He is learning as we all are right now. The most important thing for any player is for them to be accountable and keep themselves out of trouble. If guys like Marshall can do that then they have nothing to worry about. Life isnt fair thats one thing i learned a long time ago.
