Default John Lynch Missing From Camp

It appears that John isn't too happy about how things are developing at camp so far. Could the writing be on the wall for Mr. Lynch?

Lynch A No-Show At Team Meeting, Camp

Broncos safety John Lynch wasn't at training camp on Wednesday.

When asked about his absence, coach Mike Shanahan said the Pro Bowl safety is taking care of personal business.

A source told CBS4 Broncos Insider Gary Miller that Lynch was also not at the team meeting on Tuesday night.

Lynch is not happy over his lack of practice time as he competes for a starting safety position.

Lynch so far hasn't returned CBS4's calls to inquire about his absence.

It wouldn't half suprise me if John Lynch retired/asked to be traded/ asked to be released. Why would he want to risk his already battered body for a team that could end up sucking badly (not to sound negatve. Things could go well after all).

This doesn't really sound like Lynch to me.

I hope everything's alright with his family etc.

Lynch isn't one to give up after 5 days of camp.

I agree. Sometimes things come up, and Lynch isn't a rookie still trying to figure things out.

    We'll see.

Yeah. I hope it's more that he is unhappy with the way things are going than a family problem.

Ill have a report for you all tonight hopefully. But Lynch was already warned that he would have to fight/ job be limited this year. Plus he has been getting blown by everytime he is one on one with somebody in practice. I have been saying this all off season that Lynch is DONE. It does not matter how smart you are. Like you know better than to get stuck standing in traffic and your brain is telling you to move but if your legs are broke where are you going?? Regardless of how smart Lynch is on the field his body cant react and move around how it used too. Camp is showing this.

    Exactly.

He should retire now whilst his body is still in good condition.

Yup better to retire healthy than to retire and not be able to walk around and live a normal life. Because hes only old in football terms. Not life.

Yeah we can trade him for a future undrafted Rookie free agent...... Nobody is going to trade anything for a player they know we will cut or will retire.

We might as well try to shop him. Maybe someone will give us a 6th or 7th.

A bit off topic here, but still in regards to Lynch.

Say he goes to the HOF....does he go as a Buc or a Bronco? Yea his best years were in Tampa, but they discarded him like yesterdays news while the Broncos took a chance on him.
