Dang - a few minutes ago, Vic Lombardi showed Kyle speaking to the reporters in the locker room after the game, and the comment to Kyle was something like a great win over a tough team, and Kyle had a VERY mad look on his face, and said something like "they are not tough - they are dirty". He had more to say also. Then Vic said "I have never heard Kyle be that outspoken." I hope Ch4 puts that video up on their website.

The Giants said the same thing last week. Apparently the Titans do a lot of dirty stuff on the OLine and Dline in scrums and the like. They goaded the Giants into a lot of personal fouls, good thing the Broncos kept their head.

Tned posted something about them hitting Kuper in the face or head after Kuper's helmet came off.

Good for Kyle to speak his mind. He was hit alot after his throws. There were several plays after getting up from a dog pile our linemen were really pissed off. Kuper on one play was screaming at their DE for ripping his helmet off after the play was dead. I saw Maroney get his ankle twisted on the bottom of the pile once. Yeah they were being pretty dirty...

Composure. They could have easily been baited into several off setting personal fouls. Instead we let the Titans beat themselves with 10+ penalties.

I'm just a high school/semi-pro official, but we typically take a lot of abuse from coaches. That comes with the territory. However, if a coach did that to me, he'd be looking at 15 yards in the wrong direction.

Considering the Titans owner Bud Adams was fined like $250k for doing the same thing last year, I'd say the penalty is the least of his problems.

I'm sure his fine will be a lot less, but I'll be interested to see if they come down harder because it's the same organization.

Unfortunately, as an official, yardage is about the only thing the guys in the stripes have a "say so" over unless they want to eject the coach - and it would take a lot more than that for an ejection.

Speaking of officiating (I didn't read through the entire thread so I don't know if it's been discussed) I thought the game was pretty well officiated today. Good job by the guys in black and white.

Had an awesome time at the game! There were lots of Broncos fan there and it was good to see us win. I'll post some pics sometime tomorrow as I now have to drive another 5+ hours back to New Orleans to be back for class tomorrow.
