A fine line? For Broncos, it better be

Tom Nalen and crew have their work cut out. We interrupt this speculation about how the Broncos' young defensive linemen are going to play for an important announcement: The guys on the other line have their share of issues, too.
That would be the offensive line, long a strength during the Mike Shanahan era. It wasn't last season, though, what with Tom Nalen missing most of the season and Ben Hamilton all of it.
The bios don't lie. Nalen is 37 and Hamilton will be 31 next month. Nalen is coming off a torn right biceps and Hamilton didn't play a down in 2007 after sustaining a serious concussion during the preseason.
They're good to go health-wise. Question is, will they be the same players? The Broncos have taken both for granted for many years, particularly Nalen, and when they weren't around last season, it showed. Now the issue is whether age in injury will start to catch up to them.
Then there's left tackle, where No. 1 draft choice Ryan Clady will be learning on the job, and right tackle, where Chris Kuper and Ryan Harris will fight it out for the starting job. Will that tandem, given its youth and inexperience, be up to the challenge?
For now, question marks about. But that doesn't mean they can't be exclamation points by the early weeks of the season.
Any way you look at it, it will be interesting to look at it.
