Two highlight reel moves by Hillis in the first half.
First, was a play along the sideline. Not sure if it was a pass or run as only saw a highlight, a guy goes to tackle him and he just leapt him and picked up another 5-10 yards.
Second, coming out of the backfield, Hillis caught a little flare pass, which was over thrown, reaches out and pulls it towards him with one hand, then catches it at the waist with his fingertips and then runs in for the TD.
Hillis just pancaked Curtis Lofton.
Might have had another TD if not for Delhomme's fumbled handoff.
What's interesting is not just that Hillis has been having running success, but in several games Hillis has been featured in their offense. He leads the team in receiving again this week, with 3 for 48 yards and a TD. Only 5 for 14 rushing.
Alphonso Smith has 4 interceptions, the rest of the Detroit Lions team? 4
I am a McDaniels supporter but this one hurts.
Update on Chris Myers:
Houston C Chris Myers vs. San Diego NT Antonio Garay
Antonio Garay has consummately filled the shoes of Jamal Williams at nose tackle for the Chargers this year, and is the real bright spot on an otherwise disappointing Chargers’ defensive line. In run defense he has registered an impressive 15 stops and as a pass rusher he has 10 total pressures (3 sacks, 2 hits, and 5 pressures). He’ll not face a tougher test this season than Chris Myers, currently our highest-rated center. Myers has been a touch leaky as a pass rusher (yielding 8 pressures) but his run blocking has been outstanding and will be key to the Texans chances of getting back to winning ways this Sunday.

And one for Hillis:
Cleveland RB Peyton Hillis vs. New England ILBs Brandon Spikes & Jerod Mayo
Well, the Patriots’ ILB duo rose to the challenge last week against Adrian Peterson, but will they have a lull after that big game? On current form Hillis is the last back you want to take lightly, and Mayo & Spikes will need to be on top form in both run defense and pass coverage as Hillis is proving dangerous in both areas of the game. Hillis has forced 15 missed tackles in the run game this season and is averaging 3.1 yards per carry after contact; only 7 backs are averaging more. In the passing game Hillis has forced another five missed tackles and has seen just one incompletion of 28 passes thrown in his direction. Hillis is likely to have to be at his best again to give the Browns a chance in this game, unless punter Reggie Hodges can chip in with another 60 yard run.
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Hillis has a fumble (following a 16 yard run), but is also 8 for 61 (18 and 16 yards runs) with a TD. The TD was a goal line run from the 1 or 2, he was hit head on by three Pats at the 1, bounced off them and scored a TD on the second effort.
Hillis has run over the pats on the goalline, jumped over them in the open field, and now just caught a nice little deep ball down the sideline...
Love having him on my fantasy team, but it's painful watching him destroy the NFL this year as a Broncos fan.
that's o.k.......Brady Quinn is just chompin at the bit to get in there and just show what he can do....and prove the broncos got the better end of the trade...
My 5 favorite teams:
1.The Denver Broncos
2.The Ohio State Buckeyes
3.Any team that plays Michigan
4.The Pittsburgh Pirates
5.Oklahoma Lady Sooners Basketball Team
