yep....living here in Ohio....the memories of growing up listening/watching the reds with Pete Rose etc......are just awesome.
Even toward the end of his 24 year career.....he was still a very good hitter....
Tony Gwynn was the only player I thought would ever have a chance of breaking the record......it seemed like every year he would get 200 hits.....but I think injuries caught up with him...
