Whats a pandora box? And what he should have did to the patriots was take away both the picks. Then suspend the head coach for 4 games.

What kind of message are we sending to the kids as a whole? Its okay to cheat and spy on your opponants? But in the meantime your going to promote Beer and alchohal on gameday every other commercial and then get mad when a player drinks it?

This could go on forever though. Whats done is done. I still will never like Goodell and it has nothing to do with him suspending Marshall. Just added on.

It's Pandora's Box because Spygate is a thread you don't want to pull, it could have unraveled into a whirlpool of BS for the entire league.

Schefter is almost Never wrong when its about the Broncos , I think Rod Smith going with Marshall had a lot to do with it only being 3 games. I also think Rod might be a reason for the anger management counseling . Thanks Rod always a team player. I really hope Marshall can get his life together now not only for the broncos but for him self as well.

So your saying Goodell should have brushed what they did under the rug as he did to protect the league?

Shefter is right 99.8% of the time. I believe the story. I hope its flawed though lol. Shefter did report that Favre was going to take the money and retire 2 days ago though. I know its wishful thinking on my part.

I wish he was right about Favre too. the season has not even started and am tired of hearing about Farve.

There's no doubt that this is a negative....but two games isn't the end of the world. We've got solid depth and a couple more weeks for BMarsh to get his forearm back in shape isn't actually too bad a deal. The time shoudl only make him think about his mistakes and make him more hungry for the season!

    SUSPENSION COMING FOR MARSHALL
Posted by Mike Florio on August 3, 2008, 11:32 p.m.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network, who was doing double duty on Sunday night as the sideline reporter for NBC’s coverage of the Hall of Fame game, reports that Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall will be suspended three games by the NFL for violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.

Per Schefter, the suspension will be cut to two games if Marshall agrees to undergo counseling, presumably for anger management.

Marshall will be permitted to continue practicing with the team until the week before the first regular-season game.

The last I heard is Farve is cleared to play and will report tomorow to TC..

Wish I was a fly on the wall in GB HQ right now, burning up the phone lines trying to find someplace to trade him to..

I wonder who they are going to cut to make the roster spot for him and better yet how many they have to cut to clear caps space.. 12 mill is a lot of shekels..

Talk about rock and hard spot.. What maroons.. cut him so he can got to MIN and kick there ass twice a year for the next few years..

Two games are not the end of the world. I hope that this is a real wake up call for him. I also hope that Rod and the counseling can start teaching him a new way to deal with his emotions and help him grow up. This sounds pretty close to official, BTW MB and UR I really got a great laugh out of your "official" posts.

I think that a better commish wouldn't have let the Favre thing get so out of hand.

3 games is fair. Its not like its a surprise that you could face suspension in the NFL now for bad judgement. Lets just see how Marshall handles this. Past history says he will fail but lets hope that Rod had a bigger impact than we thought.

It won't make much of a difference against Oakland because I think they are bad enough we can beat them without him. But any shot we had of winning the home opener against the chargers is probably gone.

Really I was pretty confident that we would go 1-1 in the first two games and I don't think that's changed all that much.
