The only bad part about the Walking Dead is the fact that after you go on watching binge you run out of episodes and then have to wait 9 months for it to start again.

I made it though 3 seasons but my interest wained greatly. I don't post in here much because I'm not going to trash a show that most people like but when Dave said he thought it was as good as Game of Thrones I had to call him out on it.

So, the governor is a goner.

I really liked him, what a great baddy.

I loved how they tried to change him, but the drive for power and inherent evil just came through - great character, great death.

I have also been playing "last pale light in west " on repeat (the song that was playing when he was going a bit crazy with the beard and stuff.)

The soundtrack to season four is amazing - it is a sort of country blues that sounds like it can only be sung by heroin addicts with whisky soaked vocal chords

Yea, they kind of went back and forth on making him pure evil, almost likable (or at least understandable), back to evil, etc.

I was sold on the change - I thought he and Rick would become buddies, then as that stand off went on, I could just see the Govenor was not happy and Herschel was for it. That was a great way for his character to go out as well
