I think it will be the first. Somehow in Morgan's missing time he got a ride to the west coast.
All of the previews show Morgan in that jacket he had in the past.
Unless he found an identical jacket somewhere, I'm thinking it covers the time between when he first met (and parted with) Rick and the present TWD.
Which means that he's probably going off on his own, out of the current picture, in TWD.

    That's my guess.

Agreed. I can't see them doing a five plus year time jump in fear, so I've always assumed it would be the time after he and Rick parted ways in season one. That timing works with fear timeline.

I'm also wondering if Fear will move east, like to Texas or Louisiana, so they are closer to the Georgia location of TWD and not as far for Morgan to go, since we also know he returns.

Georgia to Calexico back to Georgia in the apocalypse, especially later on with bigger herds, and reliable transport and fuel more sparse, seems a stretch. Hence the reason I'm expecting fear to move quite a ways east.

Ok, about to probably go watch one more lost is space to kill time, but then watch the TWD season finale () and Fear premier.

I know not everyone likes Fear, but I've enjoyed it and the more times has gone on, the better it has gotten. It fills in some of the gap of TWD being off the air.

It's actually overtaking the original for quality IMO.

I think that first season, where they were showing the early days of the virus was actually pretty challenging and completely outside the genre that TWD has mastered. However, I've really enjoyed it since then and I think they are developing some good characters and story line.

Tned, I stopped at season four. Is it worth picking back up again?

I'm not Tned, don't be fooled, but yes. It is.

I watched the first half and gave up, but I've heard it gets outstanding.

Well, obviously there were two ways they could go with the Morgan to Fear move. They didn't go the way I thought.

Great finale. A little anti-climactic, but damn glad they went that route. What's up with Maggie, etc at Hilltop? That's going to rub me the wrong way.

Agreed. If they go too far down that rabbit hole I don't think I will like it.
