    I have now caught up.

Easily my favorite show - ever.

I watched the final eight episodes of season five tonight, myself, with some German beer, some pistachio nuts and some raisins - and all I keep thinking was how awesome my night was and that my life was pretty darn good.

Now it's over, I have no idea how I will cope.

Just ordered a Walking Dead PS3 game and a Daryl T-shirt, that should help sooth the withdrawal effects.

One thing i love so much about this show - is the character eveolution, i think it is great how Rick is no longer identifiable as that do-goody puzzy that he was in the first and second series. I think it is a real reflection on how we can potentially lose our (or at least feel like we are losing our) humanity - but be battling to keep it at all times.

There was a lot of complaining about the Walking dead after the first few episodes of season five, and many people saying the show wasn't as good as it once was (ratings too a pretty good hit, too, I believe). But in the second half of the season, I think it got it's groove back and was awesome.

I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to Fear the Walking Dead starting this summer. I have no idea how it's going to be, since it's different characters and is filling the backstory of how the virus broke out (the backstory stuff in regular Walking Dead is usually my least favorite parts).

Did you like Herschel by the time you finished?

That is the one death on the show that I still have trouble with.

I thought the first episode of season 5 was the best episode in the whole show - the escape from terminus was "epic"

Yeah - loved Hershel in the end, but i thought his death was appropriate at the time it happened

The escape was good. I think the episodes with Beth and stuff seemed slow to people. I enjoyed the whole season. However, if you look at comments in here, people were just about ready to bail on show. Based on ratings drop, I think a lot did bail.

Fear started a little slow, but it's starting to pick up.

I've been rewatching walking dead. I think in about three episodes into season 4.
