That's the way I am. I stopped reading the game of thrones books for the same reason. I enjoyed the suspense of not knowing what was coming, more than the extra detail in the books. I have read some of them after the series (to fill in), but I haven't been as motivated as I probably would be if I was just reading the books on their own.
Son of a Bitch!!!
I was reading this earlier today, and was like, WTF? Morgan? Where? When? I was racking my brain, and was too embarrassed that I missed it to ask how I missed it.
Now, reading this post it clicked. My DVR cut off right as the masked man looked at the Terminus sign, but before he unmasked... That must have been Morgan huh?
Thank God I didn't watch the whole thing and completely forget a scene. But I'm pissed that they put something like that where the timing might cause a DVR to cut it off.
Yep, he unmasks and then looks to the side and sees a symbol cut into a tree, then he looks past that tree and there are two more tees in a row with that symbol and he starts walking down the path marked with these symbols.

I don't remember those symbols either....
Just a reminder, the Broncos and 49'ers Sunday night football this week. Set your DVR's!!!!!!!
BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
I dont think there is any relevance just yet. But there could be a million theories on this.
Since they kept doing the time jump between THEN and NOW, I kind of thought maybe Gareth and company went looking for Rick & Co. and left the markings. That would mean Morgan found them a few days/weeks after the crew had been through there. But who the hell knows. This time jumping plot can get confusing.
It would seem that Terminus was overrun by a group of bad guys, who were raping the women etc.
Somehow, Gareth et al reclaimed Terminus, but at that point they realized that they could no longer welcome people in for fear of being taken advantage of again, and they consequently became "butchers".
One thing about the season premier that was cemented was that even thought it's a good show and the drama is great...they still havent figured out how to create realistic action scenes. I'd really prefer if they stayed away from them because they typically suck.
Yeah, that's how I took it. New world, new rules. You are either the butcher or the cattle in this new world.
I have seen some speculation that we might see more of what happened at Terminus to change them. We saw a part in the beginning of the episode and again at the end.
