What exactly is the Governor's angle? Every episode leaves me empty on him, unless he's just a psychopath driven by the idea that the walkers are human and he can ultimately fix them...

If that's the case, wholly, then I understand somewhat. But it seems like they are hinting at more. Maybe the killing of his daughter was the end of further character development with him, and now it's just full on psychopath/power hungry leader.
The Gov is a sociopathic nutcase. The show is capturing a bit of it. But you have to read the comic to understand the kind of person he really is.

It was really well done. The conversations with Rick/Daryl and then Michione was good writing. It stinks that they develop a character and then off him. And characters like the baby-sitters Carol/hot farm girl survive. Meh.

The actor who plays Daryl knocked it out of the park at the end though. Truly made you feel the moment and his anguish. Up there with the Sophia coming out of the barn moment...not as surprising, but emotional.

The zombie apocalypse marathon is killing my sleeping hours. Been up til 12:30 the last 2 nights watching episodes.

Watching the growth in all of the actors is kind of crazy. They have done fantastic with aging the characters. Couldn't even recognize Rick being Rick in the early episodes. Daryl is just a freaking badass, but seeing what his thoughts on Rick were from the start of the show to the respect shown now...amazing. I really like the Michione character, there is a lot of deepness to her character.

I agree that it sucks getting rid of Merle, he is an entertaining character. They dont off everyone right away, look how long they kept Shane around and he was supposed to be killed off before they got to the CDC. The story has really played out a lot longer on things than the graphic novels.

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I was hoping they'd move on from that damn prison, but looks like they won't.

Should I ask them to feature cheeseburgers and bacon next season to better hold your attention?

TWD is gonna go down as the most frustratingly average show in history. If you ain't got your shit together by season 3 at least, you're doing something wrong.

    Mostly lame finale.

It's a boring show where people talk and occasionally zombies show up. The acting is fine and dandy, I will give it that. The plot gets stagnant and the hype is ridiculous.

Disagree. Certainly they could move it along faster, but why would they?
