The story seemed generic, the usual hero kid… and awful acting..

I’ll admit I’m picky about my superhero shows and didn’t like a lot of the ones most people did.

I say 7/10. It was entertaining, and an interesting plot idea, but needs to be fleshed out more. Acting was good, and the movie does have you think about what we expect and/or how we treat others who provide services or create for us.

For me, just too many holes in the plot in terms of why the guests are all there, and staff executing the plan to keep it from getting a higher score. Entertained, but left with too many questions.

    Rewatched the LOTR trilogy.

    Greatest trilogy hands down. 100/10.

I'm confident that I have already delivered the best summary/review of the trilogy in this thread. Maybe move on to some new ground?

    Operation Mincemeat: 9/10

Brilliant spycraft/deception movie based on a true WWII operation. Interestingly, Ian Fleming (James Bond writer) was a participant in the planning of the operation as a Lieutenant Commander in the British Naval Intelligence Division at the time.

Great acting, great screenplay/script. Keeps the tension building and interest throughout.

It's on Netflix, go check it out.
