A guy who climbs el Capitan without any ropes

It's a documentary, and covers a little about his personal life as well, but mainly it's about an audacious free climb.

I watched the dawn wall last week and that is similar and equally amazing

Eighth Grade - pretty good, worth the watch. Saw it with my 5th grader. Was that smart?

There were a couple awkward moments, and one scene I skipped over a bit.

Solid movie. I think most kids should see it probably, especially girls embarking on their teenage years.

Elysium...better than I expected. If the main bad guy wasn't so lame I'd have nothing bad to say about it

    Tully with Charlize Theron.

Very interesting movie with a real twist at the end. Wife and I enjoyed it.

    Meet Joe Black - 9.5/10

I always forget just how great this film is.

Definitely one that you have to watch more than once to really appreciate it I think.

Haven't seen it yet, but Bo Burnham is great so I'm sure I will like it.

    Zodiac - 7.5/10

Somehow had never gotten around to watching the whole thing. It's a little bit too long - but did a good job conveying how this investigation consumed the lives of these detectives... You kind of descend emotionally along with them.

    U2 - Rattle and Hum 10/10
We watch it every St. Patrick's Day at our place.
Very well made concert flick of a great band in their prime.

James Bond's You Only Live Twice
    6/10
I've only seen a few Bond films in my youth, and this wasn't one of them so I never knew that Dr. Evil was a ripoff of Donald Pleasance's character in this flick. Anyway, there were some ridiculous moments, typical Bond humps the girl stuff but still a solid film.

    Triple Frontier
    7/10
Like Birdbox, this was an excellent Netflix film until the ending. Unlike Birdbox, the ending wasn't weak but it was underwhelming and well kind of annoying given what was going on throughout the plot. So that's two Netflix films that seemed like the writers couldn't come up with so much as a decent resolution to the plot.
