Well, mostly. That film was eye-opening for me. I kinda wish I saved tens of thousands of dollars and did something else. There is no justice in this world, good people do not triumph, but upon occasion you can have relations with a fancy lady in a big house!

The sequel, The Two Jakes, is really good also.

The Suicide Squad- 9/10

FINALLY DC gets it right since the Nolan Trilogy. Great acting, great script, gory as hell, and Elba, Cena, and Robbie slam it home.

Suicide Squad: 9/10

Fun, violent, and just the right touches of dark humor. Just incredible from start to finish. John Cena owned his role, and the main cast (including Stallone as Shark King) just nailed it. Polka Dot Man was a surprise favorite.

Just felt like James Gunn had a blast making a hard R movie and you can tell everyone else did too.

One more thing about that movie is that a multi decade playlist from James Gunn was perfect fit that movie. From Johnny Cashti the Fraterellis and newer stuff for the scenes perfectly.

Suicide squad… maybe I’m just superheroed out. Just didn’t hit like I thought it would. I liked the characters, the soundtrack, stuff like that. Loved guardians of the galaxy. I feel like James Gunn is past the cool edgy director point and is now kind of predictable and too big for his britches. And what the heck is it? A reimagining or a sequel? And why some of the same actors and not others? All of this is somewhat confusing. Either way it was good but in my opinion was overhyped. 7
