It's all making sense for the movie 'Glass'. 'Split' may be James McAvoy's best movie.

My opinion shouldn't matter to what you enjoy.

Joaquin Phoenix plays a hitman who gets a job to take rescue a Senator's daughter from a sex trafficking ring. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Joaquin Phoenix is a great actor.

Will be interested to hear your thoughts. Just don't expect an action movie and you'll be fine.

At this point I'm kinda in WTF? mode. Why mess with dude after the motel scene? Asking for trouble

Really good coming of age story from fist time director and comedian Bo Burnham. The film follows a young girl named Kayla during the final days of eighth grade as she struggles with issues of anxiety, self worth, and ultimately self reflection. This movie could have easily veered off into "After School Special" territory, but instead we find a movie full of earnest humor and heart that comes from organic situations and events that really draw you into the story and help you emphasize with the main character.

For his first stint as writer/director I was impressed with the visual poetry that Bo Burnham has produced. The cinematography, score, and framing of certain scenes lead to an almost voyeuristic quality, and one scene in particular near the end of the film makes your skin crawl and really leaves you with a sense of helplessness (and I'm sure it will be doubly bad for those who have been in similar situations or parents of younger daughters).

My one issue with the film is Kayla's father who is a little too understanding and ecclectic for my tastes and I wanted to punch him in the face several times. But there are two scenes that saved his character for me, including a priceless reaction that wraps up his story arc with his daughter. This movie just entered wide release and is worth the time if you are looking for a non-superhero flick. A24 studios is doing for modern independent cinema what MIRAMAX did in the 90's, and I hope they keep churning out great films like this.

Just finished this. It's very authentic, very real, and essential viewing for anybody with kids at that age. Probably should be required viewing for all girls at that age.

Went to see Escape Room with the wife and some friends last night. It was ok, 5/10.

Saw an ad for They Shall Not Grow Old. I can't ******* wait to see this.

    Glass 9/10

Great movie/trilogy. When I watched Split I didn't realize it was connected with unbreakable (forgot about last scene), but it was really well done.
