I rated it too highly, objectively speaking, but I have a soft spot for the unconventional. I'm not sure what I watched, only that I felt intrigued throughout. Plus great music and sweet sweet 70's stoner vibe.

    Your rating seems on point.

I watched it a while ago, but Peppermint was really good. Outside of John Wick, some of the best gun handling/gun fight scenes I've seen. Probably an 8/10. Much better than I expected.

Just watched First Man tonight which is about the ten years of Neil Armstrong's life leading up to the Apollo 11 landing. I had never even heard of it until it popped into Vudu's new movies this week, but it was damn good. Probably a 9/10.

One of the best graphic novels ever, but I thought that movie was incredibly well done and the ending was actually superior in the film.

It's thoughtfulness is what DC movies should inspire to be.

It's no masterpiece, but it is more of a masterpiece than Infinity Wars @King87.

In another timeline Rorschach is a school shooter though.

Probably just getting revenge on those Asian schoolgirls from Cabin in the Woods for not sacrificing themselves for the greater good. (Yes, you will not understand this if you havent seen Cabin in the Woods, lol)

The movie actually is a masterpiece as it's better than the graphic novel.

Rorschach was a great character but in the GN he was even more racist, bigoted, etc. etc. etc. He was arguably a full blown fascist. Yet you still feel something for him, and you shouldn't.

That's the mark of a great character.

Infinity Wars is great because a billion different subplots all come together and are managed well in a beautiful movie with an ending that is the stuff of legends.

Abe, this is why you are not the 16 time world heavyweight champion.

I refuse to accept a comic book mashup as a “masterpiece.”

Sometimes, in this world, no one, and I do mean no one, draws my hatred out more than you.
