Saw the Godzilla movie. It was entertaining. It's unfortunate they included humans in the movie, but it makes sense why they did.
John Wick 3- 9/10
The great thing about the Wick films is how well put together they are. They remind me so much of the early Diehard films and Bourne Identity in terms of action and execution (no pun intended).
JW3 continues with some great fight sequences as well as top notch acting. from a lot of big names in this one. Halle Berry still looks amazing as ever, Lawrence Fishburne and Ian McShane are witty as ever and Mark Dacascos (Brotherhood of the Wolf) makes an appearance with some great fight choreographer as usual.
Even Susan Blommaert from Blacklist made an appearance here.
Also for your martial fans keep a lookout for Yayan Ruhian from The Raid movies.
Another aspect that is great about JW3 although im not sure how intentional it was is some of the imagery used during the main fight scene towards the end at the hotel.
I saw a bit of Enter the Dragon, Game of Death, and (i think) A force of One homage in there. Again, not sure if that was intentional but that particular segment reminded me a lot of those movies from the martial arts heyday.
Never the less, very good movie and a must watch.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid partially took place in Bolivia, that’s technically further east than Mississippi.
That’s one of my favorite westerns ever.

Hereditary 7/10
I’m seriously creeped out. Well done, movie. Well done.
Chasing Amy: ★★★★☆
I've been going back to the View Askew Kevin Smith movies and I think this movie rivals Clerks as probably my favorite. It has all the great dialogue and humor of his best work, and touches on a maturity that he hasn't hit since. Definitely a slow burn at times, but Jason Lee and Joey Lauren Adams in particular give some wickedly good performances. Plus it has two of my all-time favorite scenes in any of his movies:
White Boy Ricky wasn't bad. 8 of 10 I suppose
The Apollo 11 documentary on CNN Sunday was fantastic... 9.5/10 -- all original footage from the 60s remastered in HD. Highly recommended.
