This is a documentary on HBO Max about the most dangerous amusement park in the world, located in New Jersey. Over a 15+ year period, there were about 10 deaths and hundreds, perhaps thousands of injuries. I remember this place so well because a few friends of mine went and one of them came back with a HUGE gash on his arm from a nail that scraped him as he went down one of the rides.
Johnny Knoxville did a movie loosely based on this place, too:

Yeah its more or less a way for him to hurt himself again loosely based on the story of the real place. It's one of those watch on a boring Sunday movies if you can get it for free deals.

Went and saw Tenet tonight. There was my wife and I and two other people in the theater. I honestly thought there'd be more people. The movie is really good but confusing as Hell, I think even Hawg would be confuddled. The three main actors were all fantastic. The lead guy was great, his name is John David Washington, doesn't really have a ton of IMDB credits but he will after this. He was in Black klansman, but I didn't see that. He really was exceptional. Nolan exists on a different plane than the rest of us. This movie will take me several viewings to grasp.

There is one significant plot hole in the movie that I'd like to discuss with anyone whose seen it or when you guys finally do see it, I'll use the spoiler alert thingy, if I can figure it out.

    Sideways 9/10

Hilarious! I saw it in 2004 and I was in the mood for this movie again. This movie makes me relax and laugh. Great flick!

    I love Giamatti.

The Color of Space (Shudder)- 8/10

Actually enjoyed this more than "Mandy" which has a similar feel with the visuals and soundtrack. Basically what you have is a family consisting of the father (Nic Cage), his wife, daughter, and 2 sons living in a countryside or mountain area (i forget where). There seems to be some tension between the mother and father as well as the daughter who seems to practice witchcraft or is a wiccan of sorts. Never the less one night a meteor drops from the sky surrounded by a purple color or haze.

It has an effect on the house and family within it to which they dont understand initially. After a while they come to release that a lifeform has started to take over the animals and vegetation surrounding the house and area as well as the water system it feeds off of which seems to be contaminated already. Some of the special affects remind me a bit of Carpenters "The Thing" and certainly doesnt go where you think it might but again the visuals and soundtrack is quite amazing although it still seemed to lack something of substance throughout i guess. Also a shout out to Tommy Chong who has an appearance in this as the drugged out hippie who believes in UFO's, ect.

I really want to see this in the theater.

I know it's one I'll probably have to see multiple times to really put together. And I don't want to watch it multiple times thinking, "Damn, I wish I would have seen this in the Theater!"

Saw this the other night and it was well done. It captured most of the Lovecraftian vibe--it's one of his best stories. That vibe is my favorite thing in the world near about.

isn’t he Denzil (sp?) Washington’s son? And from show ballers?
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Denzel. Yes and yes. John David is Denzel’s kid. He played football at Morehouse and went to camp with the Rams before being cut and playing semi-pro for a few years. Then went to work in the film industry. I’ve heard a couple interviews with him, and he was determined to not work off his dad’s name, and I’m sure it helped, but missed out on a bunch of auditions before he got the role in Ballers because he’d played college football and a little pro.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    Due Date
    6/10

This movie has laughs to keep you entertained you but not enough laughs to keep you from wondering if this could be a better film than what you're watching. Roger Ebert compared it to Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and he's right. It has that premise of an annoying funny guy who won't exit the life of the family man who's tired of his antics.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. 10 out of 10 - Buff wouldn't understand it, mostly because he's stupid.

This potshot at Buff is just my way of saying "Bro...let's rekindle the bromance....and you're dumb."
