You might not get all the Easter eggs out references but you will still enjoy it as a standalone movie

Yeah I was gonna say it's a lot more fun if you had seen all the FOX Marvel stuff (which I'm sure Buff has lol) because this is basically a goodbye to all that stuff. I think a majority of it was garbage, but the first couple X-Men films and some of First Class was great. I like how some of the easter eggs/cameos started like a joke but still treated them seriously enough to add to the story.
Went back to the cinema to watch deal and wolverine again - think it might even have been better second time round!
I watched horizon a few weeks ago and just bought it on prime last night, western perfection!
Borderlands 0/10
Awful - I left after 45 mins, terrible acting, terrible everything
Wow, two 0/10s. No more grading on a curve on BF.
P.S. I have to be honest I have a man crush on Glen Powell. I think my two favorite people in Hollywood right now are Taylor Sheridan and Glen Powell. It's possible that that fact, and that he plays a genius red neck from Arkansas, which I can clearly relate to, probably also make me enjoy the movie, not to mention that disaster movies are my favorite genre, followed closely by rom coms.
Can you imagine how conflicted I am when some of the biggest climate change movies (sorry, making an I'm ****** up point) out there are the disaster flics and I just can't stop watching them. I've probably watched Day after tomorrow 20+ times. 2012 a dozen or so. Of course Armageddon more than I can remember, Deep impact and the volcano twins many times. Geostorm I think four times so far, but will be 10+ in a few years. Greenland three times. List goes on.
Romcoms. just go with it 20+ I'm thinking, in the running with Day after tomorrow for the lead.
50 first dates and blended have got to be in the 12-15+ times each. Sweet home Alabama in that territory and I'm sure quite a few others I can't think of.
Anyway, the combo of disaster Flik and Glenn Powell definitely has that movie in my wheel house. I'll be paying 20 or 25, whatever they are charging on Tuesday, to buy it to watch with the wife.
Glad to see it's going to break 200 million domestic and 300 million worldwide.
