The point is you're complaining about how a list designed to contain old movies has old movies. Your criticism is unfair, insignificant, and bad. Biases exist with every single list ever made and to point it out is far from revolutionary.

Old movies can be good, often are, and it should not be a surprise when a list highlighting the history and influence of American cinema puts a bunch of old movies on it.

The belief that liking old movies is pretentious because new movies are better is quite pretentious.

Sorry they didn't put Infinity War on the list, King.

Casablanca is an all time great. This is an objective opinion.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

My Fair Lady is a great, great flick. The list is somewhat pretentious and self-congratulatory (Blair Witch is a great friggin film)...go ahead and make a list. Maybe I will.

I think my least favorites were the musicals. Just never my cup of tea, though La La Land had some good moments.
I'm going to have to check some of those out.

    Consider this a personal failure.

I won’t back down on this.

You're probably right. I'll get to it sometime after the wife and I finish Hanna.
