Guess I better. Maybe I need to watch O Brother first. Guess it depends on which is more convenient.

You can watch O'Brother any time. Valhalla Rising requires a particular mood and maybe just the right punt of whiskey. It reminds me of the Lighthouse in a way. They both come across as experimental.

    Jessica Forever (Shudder)- 4/10

Strange yarn about a woman who in a post apocalyptic society takes in a misfit of boys who have a history of violence and criminal activity trying to care for them and change their ways with love and caring. The description of the movie says that they fight for peace and love but in reality they are nothing more than squatters and killers. Not sure what the angle is with the movie and i found myself rooting for them to be slaughtered and extinguished. It would seem the movie was trying to humanize them in some way but i found zero redeeming qualities about them overall.

Valhalla Rising is ok but that director (Refn) is pretentious af. Only God Forgives is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

VR was ok but far to slow for me. Nicely shot though.

I haven't seen that one. VR is definitely pretentious but sometimes that's okay. I just found that movie to be very hard to look away from. Plus Mads is ******* great in everything he's ever been in.

JoJo Rabbit - I can't go full Chazifer and max this one, but I enjoyed it much more than I expected. Much, much more. Because I expected it would be bad. It's not. It's both silly and serious, profound and absurd. 8/10

When i saw the trailer a while back i thought it looked hilarious. I heard Scar Jo does a nice job in it.

It reminded me of one of my favorite foreign language films ever Life is Beautiful. I also loved what Waititi did with the Hitler imaginary friend character. Sam Rockwell is also amazing, as usual. Two of my favorite actors on the planet are ScarJo and Sam Rockwell, so that probably helps explain why I loved it so much. The Oscar for Best Screenplay was very well deserved.

I think they are currently my two favorites as well. Sam has really come on in the last few years for me as i have loved him in everything he does. Of course ive always liked Scar even going back to Eight Legged Freaks.

Nope, he didnt get the part because he wouldnt dive.......after he got shot.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
