It's a British flick about 2 Irish hitmen hiding out in Bruges, Belgium after a hit goes sideways.
It switches back and forth from really funny to really serious throughout the whole thing.
I've had it PVR'd for 2 years and finally decided to watch it.
    Glad I did.
Awesome director, too. He also did Seven Psychopaths (another dark comedy) and 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

    Venom- 9/10

Certainly the best of the DC movies for me full of fun and great action. Hardy does a great job in this and i love the concept of the plot.

Favorite quiote: "What is that? It looks delicious!"

Panned by critics, loved by fans. Yup, sounds like a Venom movie!

About 20 minutes into Empire Records. I almost want to stop it and watch something else.

    Personal Video Recorder.
It's just the official name for the recording functionality built into my television receiver.
Not sure if PVR is a Canadian term or not.
    Like Pop vs. Soda...;-)

P.S. I have SB 50 PVR'd and watch it every couple of months.

I still say I "taped" things like I still have a VCR with a timer on top of my TV that doubles as furniture!

    Classic.
I still remember when the only way to "pirate" a song was to set my boom box in front of the family stereo, turn on the radio, put in a blank cassette and press "record"...;-)

Back then a mixed tape was a labour of love.

Kids have it so easy these days.

    Halloween '78

    9/10 Classic.

I just wanted to refresh my mind before going to see the new "Halloween" movie.

I heard that new "Halloween" movie is going to be scariest of them all.

    Venom: 8/10

Fun movie that starts like a B-Movie Sci Fi horror film then ends like a Sci Fi Action Flick. It's kind of weighed down by being an origin movie, but thankfully Tom Hardy does a great job carrying the first half of the movie. The 3rd act feels like they left some stuff on the cutting room floor that could've pushed this movie into Deadpool-like territory both from an entertainment and story beat perspective, but alas we are left with a PG-13 movie that works better than it should.

I should correct myself too, i thought this was a DC movie but was actually part of Marvel so i guess that explains why i liked it more. Lol

The Endless. It’s on Netflix right now. Drop what you are doing and watch it. Second time I’ve seen it, 9/10. I don’t even know how to categorize it. Horror/sci-fi? Also, I know it’s a series and not a movie, but Maniac is OUTSTANDING! Instant top 10 of tv shows I have ever seen.
