The Watchmen - 9/10 I have read 7/12ths of the comic and got the chance to go see it. I loved it. The dialog was pretty spot on. Was a little disappointed in the way some of the scenes were done, but then again, it would be a 5 hour movie otherwise. Casting was excellent (Max Headrom as Moloch) was great.

    Monsters vs. Aliens 7/10

Took the family to see it, it wasn't bad, but nothing made me say wow.

7/10. It is okay. It sucks to see without technology weapons, cars, etc.

Wanted 8.5/10 - Really enjoyed the action sequences. Plot was predictable, but it didn't bother me. And if I ever quit my job, I am so beating someone down with my ergonomic keyboard.

Got a copy of Human Traffic for tonight after I put my boys down.

awesome, thnikk! one of my faves-- IMO, definitely the most accurate movie portrayal of "the scene". . . . i think it's funny as hell. . . let me know what you think of it. . . .

    Know1ng: 7/10

Slightly confusing storyline with some plot holes but overall a decent movie. Per the movie, we are all pretty much DOOMED except for a few kids.

I say it's about time for wankers to be in movies. I'm tired of T&A being female only.

Anyway, Northman, thanks for the list. I'm taking notes.

    Observe and Report -

The first half to two thirds - 3/10

Terribly boring. A plot really is never settled on... all of the components that make up the story are jumbled, confused, and one can't be placed above the other as what's important. Seth Rogen does a good job with the role; a lot of the scenes rely on mock-seriousness to deliver the punchline. The only problem is that most of these awkward situations aren't nearly as funny as other awkward situations in other movies. Whoever the main girl was from the commercial plays the role of lead slut, as always. There was only one laugh out loud scene in my book, involving Rogen and the guy who currently is in the show Parks & Recreation (or Ed from Scrubs).

    Last 30-45 minutes - 10/10

There really isn't a better way to redeem this movement then what happened. Finally, something culminates, weird shit starts to go down, and Rogen's character all of a sudden gets really badass really quick. All everyone talked about walking out of the movie was the ending because it really popped a punch. Hilarious and gave closure to everything that transpired in the film, despite the terrible start.

Overall, worth it for the end, but that may be a judgement call.

**WARNING** There's a ton of male dick in the final scenes. I'm not a fan of it usually, but this time it was used pretty well. Funny shit.
