Hmmm, I didn't think Wick three was as good as the first two. Might have been better if I hadn't just watched the other two. Probably drop it down to 6.5 of 7/10.

Rewatching 12 Strong right now. I remember that being a really good movie/story. Impressive what those guys did.

This is why the John Wick movies have the best gun scenes (and other action scenes) in the business. Berry and Reeves spent six months training with 3 gun champions/trainers. Berry had never shot a gun prior to this, I think they said, and look at what she does here. Cool video of her working with dog trainers too.

    Here's Reeves in action:

Detective Pikachu.... negative 3 out of 10. Turrible..... just turrible. The worst movie I have seen in probably 20 years. And the fact that they used Ryan Reynolds for the voice of a shrill female sounding yellow Japanese lightning bolt creature... just turrible

I actually went into this flick with great hesitation as i did not care for the first one that much at all. However, this one was far more enjoyable and in my opinion got back to what made the original HP series so good. This film also starts to connect the dots more when it comes to what happens with the Harry Potter films. I found the Nagini angle particularly fascinating and interesting. Despite the controversy surrounding Johnny Depp and his off film issues i think he actually did a great job in the role here as Grindelwald. I actually look forward now to the third installment to come.
I can’t bring myself to watch any more of this series. After the terribly lame first one and that godawful creepy ass dancing scene with the main dude . Yikes

Shaw and hobbs......7.5/10 Thought it was going to be better, but it was still solid, best part is the dynamic between the rock and Jason. Oh and Idris is a f'in badass.....little hokey in parts but pretty much you avg. summer blockbuster.....I think They may have over-anticipated the fan base for this judging by the box office results.....

I am glad to have a small Blu-ray/DVD collection of all of my favorites for when the streaming apocalypse happens.

The only thing that sucks is that the metals in the DVDs/CDs/BluRays etc will wear down and oxidize over time. Its a big reason that many people have brought vinyl records back into popularity. All of my favorite albums I am slowly getting on vinyl for that reason. I like to buy the BluRay/DVD combo packs when I do buy them because the DVDs are easy to rip and store on a hard drive as a backup.

If anyone wonders about the future of those digital download codes, I had a bit of a scare recently when all the Ultraviolet titles I owned were on a platform that was shutting down. Luckily they transferred them to the Movies Anywhere app because while I have DVD rips of them on a hard drive, I'd rather just call them from the cloud service on my phone without taking up storage. Its no wonder piracy is so rampant. Its also a reminder of how important libraries are. If you haven't been in a while, it is a great way to get physical copies of new movies and games and then rip THOSE movies to a hard drive. It will be especially helpful when a solar flare or EMP takes out our grids but we can run our TV/DVD combo players from 2002 off a generator in between building out Mad Max cars.
