I havent seen it either but the trailer looked interesting. But judging by Beef's rating it lines up close to what the audience felt but the critics seem to really like it more.

My son convinced me to watch the Harry Potter movies, and we are finally getting to the good ones. The fifth one was pretty decent, I liked it. The sixth one, saw that tonight, was kinda slow, but I am anxious to watch Deathly Hallows.

We also watched The Karate Kid tonight. That movie kicks ass (flying crane style). I'm ok with how much I liked it as a kid. Mr. Miyagi with the Medal of Honor, gifting cars, tending bonsai, making Daniel-san sweat his ass off...good stuff.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald- 9/10

I actually went into this flick with great hesitation as i did not care for the first one that much at all. However, this one was far more enjoyable and in my opinion got back to what made the original HP series so good. This film also starts to connect the dots more when it comes to what happens with the Harry Potter films. I found the Nagini angle particularly fascinating and interesting. Despite the controversy surrounding Johnny Depp and his off film issues i think he actually did a great job in the role here as Grindelwald. I actually look forward now to the third installment to come.

Watched John Wick I last weekend and II last night, in anticipation of watching III today. John Wick has to have among, if not the best, gun handling out there. Reeves goes and does extensive training (working with a well known 3 gun guy). I get so sick of the unlimited ammo, or seeing a gun out of ammo with the slide locked back after the first shot fired, so it's refreshing to see a movie that takes the realism so serious.

In addition to the realistic gun handling, the Wick movies have great Atmos sound tracks.

Love Wick 1 and 2 and looking forward to watching 3 in a few minutes. I definitely throw the first two in the 8/10 range.

Also going to watch MIB international today or tomorrow, as it also came out on digital this week.
