    Get Out - 8/10

Exceedingly rare that a horror/fictional movie can thread the needle of being original and creepy without being campy or lame. That was a fun movie to watch.

    Taxi Driver

What an odd movie. And Jodie foster playing a 12 year old prostitute is odd.

    Faster 6.5/10

The Rock, Liam Neesum hot daughter in Taken was in it, Tom Berringer for about 1 minute

I gave it 6.5 because I didn’t get to finish watching it, but it was good, I surprised that a Rock movie was this solid. Good characters and solid acting, Rock had very little dialog.

    Wonder how it ended.

Twist towards the end. Finish it.

Watched "Never Goin' Back" last night on Amazon. It's a pretty good teen angst drama/comedy. It's set and filmed in Dallas so it probably was more interesting to me because of that then it would be to someone with no connection to Dallas.

Summer of 84, on Shudder. 7/10--fun if you were a teenage boy in the 80's, but lots of problems with it. One scene is particularly bad, these kids take a minimum of 40 minutes to go from the main floor to the basement and that's the only thing they have to do. That scene was MST3K bad, but there's enough camp and plot to make it worth the watch.

I mean I haven’t watched a movie this effed up in a long long time. At one point during a weird part the entire theater was laughing.

Nah, havent really said much on it but ive been a Shudder subscriber for a few years now. As far as ranking them its all subjective and some of the stuff they have on there isnt even horror or thriller related so not sure what they are up to with all that. Never the less occasionally they surprise me with something, its how i discovered Beyond the Black Rainbow(director of Mandy) and The Strange Taste of Your Body's Tears. I am glad to see that gay softcore porn movie on there posing as a horror film didnt make the top 100 though. Lol

In other news, a legend passed away yesterday. Rutger Hauer who was in films like The Hitcher, Ladyhawke, Surviving the Game, Blind Fury, Blade Runner, etc passed. Loved a lot of his work.

    I’m not saying it’s a good movie.

But I was thinking about it a couple days after. Movies like that are great.
