The only comic book movie masterpiece is the 1966 Adam West Batman movie.

Although I have heard great things about Into the Spiderverse.

I just have finer tastes and higher expectations.

There are maybe 20 masterpieces and 0 of them are superhero movies.

So many artists and works of art were scoffed at during their time. This post is an echo of what made that tragic reality come to fruition.

You did not become a villain, Abe. You were a monster the entire time.

I loved the graphic novel, but for some reason the constant blue dong in the cinematic version just.....blah... Put some pants on Dr Manhattan...

    Han Solo: 8/10

So far the side stories (Rogue One and this) are the better movies of the new Star Wars stuff that is out there as Force Awakens and Last Jedi are just terrible to me. While this movie still misses the flair that Ford actually brings to the character it was done well enough to be enjoyable. Missy and i were both excited about the ending involving Darth Maul which we are still hoping he gets his own movie which would be sweet.

It's annoying that whiny fans threw a fit and didn't go watch it in theaters. We'll probably never get a sequel to it, even though it would have been a fun enough ride to enjoy.

I admit, i held off watching it until now as its been very hit or miss with this stuff. But i do think for whatever reason (at least to me) that they seem to be putting better story lines with the side movies so depending on what happens going forward i will probably check out the next side story (if they have one) whether its good or bad. So far they have not been disappointments for me.

The Lobster - I can only offer a musical rating, and it is this

Could have used a bit more

But I want to watch it again I think. Mainly to know if I like it or not.
