That's another one I wanted to see when it came out then completely forgot about. I heard it needed more Charlize Theron punching people and less plot.

I didn't have a problem with the plot even though there are far better movies with similar plots. I just wasnt convinced of her character being the best in the biz. She doesn't really make a great action hero to me. Liked her better in Furious 8.

    Hacksaw Ridge - 8/10

For some reason, I never watched it and didn't know the background story. Pretty solid movie.

Not sure why a projector failing in a German cinema means England sucks. Or why a Scotsman would care.

When I lived on Okinawa we took plenty of tours of battlefield areas and places of historical significance from the Battle of Okinawa. A mostly overlooked battle from the island hopping campaigns. I guess it just gets overlooked due to battles such as Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal, etc. but I'll tell you the Battle for Oki was as rough and hard as any of them. The Japanese were ferocious and changing their tactics to just ensuring they could kill as many as possible was a brilliant stroke and nearly impossible to overcome but for the fighting of some amazing Men.

10/10.....great movie. 42 is such a revered number in baseball, and Mr. Robinson definitely earned it.

Just finished watching Ready Player One. Loved it. They changed an awful lot so if you are a fan of the book, go in with an open mind expecting mass changes, but it is one of the few movies that lived up to the legacy of the book.

I just finally watched that awhile back on Netflix. Really a spectacular movie. Chadwick Boseman is a very good actor (he was also great in Black Panther)
