"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers
They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

8/10
So you’re telling me with some tweaks of the programming code she could fold laundry and clean me house? In!
Darkest Hour 9/10 or so.
I thought it was very well acted, but more importantly, gave a glimpse into what was going on behind the scenes in English government as Europe was quickly falling to Hitler. We watched Durnkirk a month or so ago, so seeing this playout essentially in the same time period of Dunkirk (with dealing with the troops at Dunkirk being one of the themes of Darkest Hour), made it even more interesting.
Well worth watching.
I think I'm about to dive into It.
Mute- 7/10
22 Bullets- 8/10
I yesterday saw Black Panther.I will rate it 8/10.It's a great movie.
Black Panther - 6/10
It was a solid flick but there was no way in hell it could live up to all the goddamn hype it's been getting.
It got nailed by what I call the "Wonder Woman" syndrome.
An average movie that gets caught up in a wave of politicized hype.
The significance of what it stands for was not lost on me...it's just not a "great" movie.
Yeah I about got my head bit off at work when I told my coworker I thought it was alright. "ALRIGHT?! I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT!" she exclaimed. Ok, good for you! I didn't put my personal projections onto the movie, I just wanted to see a solid superhero flick and what I got was a weird mix of a spy movie with sci fi elements which kind devolved into a CGI fight at the end. Upping or lowering the score based on politics or personal importance based on the movie is silly either way, I tried to rate it on it's own merits.
I absolutely though Michael B. Jordan was the best actor/character in the whole film though. I loved the contrast he gave to Black Panther and to the story. Very mature theme for a comic book flick.
