But, I did watch Back to the Future last night. Man oh man was that movie done well. What has happened to movies nowdays? They just aren't as good as they used to be.
There are great movies still today, but damned if Back to the Future is almost perfect! One of the few movies I can watch from any point if it's on. So perfectly paced and fun.
Ikr...I hadn't seen it in a long time but I was just noticing the drastic differences in my attention span. I don't know what it is but alot of the older movies and even music have me way more interested. BTF is just a fun movie and the score goes so well with it. This explains why Star Wars, Superman (Reeves), Conan and many other 80s movies were just so perfect, they had incredible scores that were just as big as the movie itself. How can you not like Huey Lewis and the News in Back to the Future?

I watched One Flew Over the Cuckoos Next last night. Omg, what an amazing performance from Jack Nicholson!

All three seasons of the television series of Fargo have been great too!
Still haven't seen season 3. The first 2 were really good. Are they going to make more??

Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - 5/10
Although it was great to see most of the original characters back in action this movie suffers from a lack of heart and writing.
They will never duplicate the fun and camaraderie of the first 3 so they should just let it go...to Davey Jone's Locker.

My wife won't watch it because she thinks it's about baseball (sports in general). I try to tell her that's just a backstory, but she'll have nothing to do with it.

As a teacher, she should be cognizant of how sports interacts with society. By neglecting this story and it's far reaching ramification, she is turning her back on context that is important.

Or some shit like that. I don't know. Everyone seems to like that movie. I thought it was great. I might rewatch it again this weekend.

I'll be in Denver this summer, if she doesn't like the movie she can punch me in the throat.

2013 or 2014. It's a really good movie. No superlatives or exaggeration. Just really good.
