Had a day off with my daughter, and we watched Gangs of New York together. She is taking AP American History in HS, and we had a great time afterwards talking about discrimination against Irish, then Italian and Jewish immigrants, as well as the draft riots of 1863.
Excellent movie 9/10

The Corpse of Anna Fritz- 7/10
Trailer:
Interesting tale about a orderly named Pau who ends up receiving the body of a very famous and desirable actress who had passed away recently. He immediately takes a picture of her and sends it to his friends who end up showing up at the hospital looking to go to a party but instead decide they want to see the body. After gazing and gawking at her body the conversation then turns to questions of whether or not Pau has had sex with any of the bodies that have come through while he has been working.
When Pau admits to actually having sex on occasion with corpses his friends Ivan and Javi are in disbelief but Ivan becomes very interested in having sex with Anna Fritz and thus begins to have intercourse. Javi is not into it and becomes irritated by both guys behavior and bows out of the necrophilia. However, things start to get interesting when Pau begins to have sex with the corpse and she wakes up while he is getting his groove on. Soon it becomes a case of what to do now that she is awake?
Hmmmmmmmmm, what to do what to do..
I'd like to watch that. Netflix?

Polar opposite flicks, but both were good and I enjoyed them.
