The black Army guy is a retired Colonel who lost both legs by an IED in Iraq.

I was bored once and watched it. Was totally surprised by how much I liked it. I think it was because I didn't expect much, but I really like that movie.

I thought you were referring to the tv series on USA, which I believe is a spin off from that movie.

These are all great choices. I thought Fury was surprisingly good. I really liked Lone Survivor too.

I was surprised how much I liked Fury too. Not really a Pitt fan, but that was an excellent movie.

I like Brad Pitt's movies, especially 'Inglorious B@st@rds'. 'Fury' was good.

I like the lists so far...'The Pacific' is a good series, just like 'Band of Brothers'. I like watching old war movies from the 40's and 50's.

    Thor: Ragnarok 7.5/10

Really fun but tonally all over the place. Once I finally allowed myself to let the movie take me along for the ride I enjoyed it more but some of the humor was very hit or miss. Cool action sequences but a pretty basic story with lots of starts and stops. The movie wanted to be as fun as Guardians of the Galaxy but sometimes it forgot to be it's own thing. Chris Hemsworth does have a knack for comedic timing, though. To me this was a mid-tier Marvel movie that was propelled by some sharp humor that worked in spurts and a good soundtrack with sharp visuals. A fun night at the movies and I had a good time so I guess you can't ask for much more than that from a comic book flick.
