I'm sure it will be as good as the new ghostbusters.

I am anti-war as a general rule, so a lot of it did sit nicely with how i see things - but that aside, i just thought it was a really good peice of military/satire that also showed how politics influence these issues but in a way that highlighted the absurdity of it all.

Yeah, I was impressed by Pitt's physical comedy.

FTR, I too am anti-war, unless somebody needs an ass kicking.

LOL - like when Pitt told the Brit Col - that the Yanks were basically doing what the Brits couldn't!

That movie had a great concept, and it was funny. As an idea it's great. As a movie, I fell asleep near the end. Brad Pitt was in fine form, the satire was entertaining, but as a story it really fell flat near the end. I wish it was better.

It made me want to rewatch Burn After Reading and Inglourious Basterds.

His two worst performances in recent memory. He nearly ruined both movies for me.

I did. I respect the man, but that special didn't have any juice. You think MO and I don't do deadpan? It had a few moments, but it was just too tired and hackneyed.

Buff really is kind of incredible - he knows nothing about movies and has the meanest and worst opinions.

    Buff, I think you're my online hetero-lifemate.
