rogue one is pretty bad ass. . . 7.5 or 8 / 10-- i think i need to view it a second time. . . definitely thought it was far superior to the force awakens. . .

The hurt locker. Not sure out of ten. Some parts I could really relate to, given the fact my role out out there was IED related.

Other parts wanted to make me scream with rage.

I did enjoy the attention to detail with little things like taped helmet straps. But other things made me mad.

I would be curious to read other people's reviews of this
It's been years since I've seen it, but I thought Hurt Locker was lame.

I didn't serve, so maybe my criticism is invalid.

If the bad guys set up an IED to be set off remotely. .. why wouldn't they set it off at some point while the anti-IED dude is trying to disarm it? Are they just sitting around saying, "oh damn, he's disarming it! Son of a bitch."

Rogue One 10/10 will elaborate further in the Rogue one thread.

There is an answer to that lol, ECM, that was my job!

But yeah, it was pretty lame.

I liked the grittiness of The Hurt Locker. It didn't overly romanticize wartime, so I appreciated that. I thought if it accomplished anything it was that there is an inherent tension in the movie that maybe sort of begins to hint at the constant tension that is inherent in being in a warzone. But it's not a very satisfying watch. I remember just kind of enduring it and then thinking "This won best picture?"

I feel like I have seen it but now I don't recall... Given that it's Sorkin I feel like I'd enjoy it. It came out when I was in college so I might need to circle back to it now.

I would pound that ass until my dick came off because she's hot, but her ass is not good. She has nice tits and is gorgeous, so there's that.
