What Dreams May Come was inspirational to me.

    Pieces of April - 6.7/10

Critics and viewers rated it well, but it was only a decent movie for my liking. The movie was made in 2003 and starred Katie Holmes. She is a young adult on her own in NYC, and invites her estranged family over for Thanksgiving. It was done well, and the movie didn't suck, but it isn't something I'll watch again on purpose.

Machete Kills did not disappoint. Bonus fun points for being one of only three white dudes in the theater.

I still crack up when I think about the scene where they "hang" Machete. That stare Danny Trejo does is the only acting he ever needs to do.

    Gravity: 8/10

Kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the movie. Really good performance by Bullock. She and Clooney were the only two actors who appeared on screen during the movie, which I found interesting.

    Django Unchained -- 8/10

I was disappointed. All the hype led me to believe it would be really great. Instead it was just good, not great.

What was wrong wit it? It was a bit campy, but I found it very entertaining.

    ...the girl was hot, though...

...and she's Mrs. Reynolds in real life now too.

Well, at least until he changes up in a few years like he did with Alanis and Scarlett...

(...Alanis - kinda understand trading up for Scarlett, btw...)

Just a very thin and predictable plot. Plus, as much as i do like Ryan Reynolds as an actor i felt he overplayed this character way too much.

Obviously i love hot chicks but even she couldnt save that movie. But, Ryan seems to have a lot of hot women in his life at some point. Scar Johansson anyone?

It did fill a formulaic plot, but I still thought it was great. I've heard that they if a GL2 ever gets green-lighted (no pun intended), they will spend more time making a better script. I really want to see GL-Corps vs. Sinestro Corps.
