Some old, imagined posters of newer movies. Pretty cool.
Wreck it Ralph- 6 out of 10. Actually enjoyed it, but have to bring it down a few notches because I can't stand that foul wench Sarah Silverman and the trailer trash whore from glee. Don't know why, but I want to go visit Sugar Rush and eat the vegetation.
"OZ" 9.7/10
TWO THUMBS UP! The visuals were vibrant and beautiful. Many of the scenes in OZ are breathtaking. It was so incredible how they used lots of elements from the 1939 "Wizard Of Oz" movie to tie into this prequel. It all fits and makes sense like a puzzle. There was a lot of humor, special effects, and action to keep your eyes opened and interested from the very start to the very end of this movie! Very well put together masterpiece!
Look for Finley The Monkey. This monkey cracks me up!
3D is highly recommended.
Red Dawn 7 of 10. way better than I thought it would be. The whole North Korea invasion thing is so far fetched, everyone knows any war with them will involve well placed mushroom clouds. But the Russian involvement made it more believable, and it was acted decent. The original still rules.
Evil Dead remake
If you watch it thinking its going to be scary you will be very disappointed. If you watch it ready to watch a cheesy horror with a weak story line you will laugh your ass off and enjoy it. The acting is horrible, the story is horrible and the laughing is great. 6.5 / 10
Lay the Favorite 6/10
Despite having a decent plot (supposedly partly true), and having some decent actors, the acting was freakin' atrocious.
But, Laura Prepon (That 70s Show) did show her tits in the first 20 minutes...
Has anyone noticed studios bringing in Chinese censors on sets of films before they are released?
They did this for Iron Man 3, Red Dawn, and Skyfall.
