Well, I never usually associate propaganda with a good thing unless some guy in a chicken suit is trying to direct me into a Popeye's Chicken. Now THATS some good propaganda!
Maybe next time you will choose your words more carefully if you don't want them changed. I'm sick of cleaning up your messes and trying to explain your behavior to the rest of the board!
Scratch that. I guess I was a little over zealous.
There are three driving scenes if you count one short scene in a cheap Nascar knock-off on a small town track with only one car on the track, poorly shot where it looks like it's going 60 mph at the most.
Four, if you count the main character driving his love interest and her kid home, and Five if you count a 10 second stunt driving scene that was as unimpressive as anything I've ever seen.
None of these are anything that would be confused with a normal car chase scene.
The movie really fails hard in delivering anything of the sort of a world class getaway driver.
I liked moneyball, I had just had everybody tell me how good it was I was expecting way more. Without the expectations clouding my judgement id probably give it a 7.5....it let me down more than contagion did. Best movies I've seen in the last 6 months by far are drive and 50/50
If u are expecting a car chase movie your going to be let down. Its not fast and the furious. There is actually acting in drive. Can't believe some of the hate its getting here. I'm also sure that movie had a pretty small budget compared to many movies as well. No CGI horse crap. Just good acting, directing, and cinematography...I love how it doesn't hand you everything on a silver platter and makes you think a bit. Too many movies now just regurgitate crap we already knew was happening.....plus the lead has about 30 lines the entire movie but is still the strongest character.
I guess i can see how some might not like the pacing and metaphors/directing style. Its not perfect but I thought it was brilliant.
