10/10. One of the best movies I've seen in years. I saw the movie on a whim as I was not yet prepared to watch "The Thing" and ruin my favorite horror flick. A lot of people totally hate this movie though because the American advertising campaign depicted it to be some "Fast and Furious" type of film. The movie is heavy on showing, not telling, which is of course completely counter to the usual schlock out there. I got a strong "A History of Violence" vibe from it and joked that it was like The Notebook directed by David Cronenberg; there are a ton of influences running around, though. Great soundtrack, too.
i've only heard good things about this. will definitely be checking it out when i go on my days off.

This movie is so bad, that I'm expecting Mastershake to love it!!

Seriously, the previews made this look like a fun action flick. It's anything BUT! Just like the move "the American"... this movie is Sloooooooooooooow. Its boring. It puts you to sleep through 99% of the flic. The audience applauded after finally SOMETHING happened. Not because it was a great scene, but because something FINALLY happened. Its a movie you rent, if you want to take a nap.
I kinda want to see it now myself!

Insidious was a wretched film. Invictus is "Seven Years in Tibet" with soccer and darker skins. Inception, a movie that just coincidentally starts with an "I", is pretty good, though. If you have already seen it I suggest watching it again over those other two. If you have two projectors I suggest putting in Invictus and Insidious on at the same time, images over one another.

Nut, watch them anyway. Not everyone is going to have the same ratings on movies. But, having been warned, you can just set your expectations lower. However, if it really does suck, you can take your movie back to the store and go postal on the clerk, demanding your money back. If you have a little froth on your mouth, I can guarantee you'll either a) get your money back post haste, or b) a security guard will eject you from the store, post haste.

nub is rating insidious as a movie. i am rating it as a scary movie. it is what it is. shawshank redemption it is not, but it's... it's a god damned scary movie. they all suck, but this one sucks less than most of the others that i've seen in the last few years.

    Machete 7.5/10 - pretty badass

North Country 8/10 - fantastic flick
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Invictus.- not bad. great rugby scenes which I liked, I wonder if it was based on a true story about Mandella's release from prison and the civil war the threatened South Africa in that time.Oh, I guess I'd give it a 7 f 10
