    Furiosa

I'll give it like a 7. Maybe a 7.5. I liked it. It didn't have the "OMG this might be the best pure action movie ever" amazing ness of Fury Road, but was still really good.

More CGI in this one, the practical effects of Fury Road are a big reason why that movies looks so frigging amazing and this one lacks that punch. Still, way better than most action movies that I've seen as of late.

I liked the Furiosa backstory. The little girl who played the young Furiosa was very good. The character of Furiosa was well sussed out IMHO and I really like her as a female badass action hero. Too many times modern movies make the female characters just too unrealistic. I get a little taken out of a film when a 100lb woman is literally beating the shit out of big muscle bound dudes. One thing they get right with Furiosa is she is physically weaker than the dudes she fights, so she doesn't take them on that way or when she has to she loses, as she would, but then turns the tide with her quick wits, agility and her quickness. I like that. At this point Furiosa might be my favorite female action lead of all time. It's between her and Ripley. I really wish people who wished to make "woke" action movies with female leads would take a cue from Furiosa.

This movie does a really good job of making you feel the sexual danger of this young woman surrounded by these savages without making it gross.

Chris Hemsworth is awesome as Dr Dementus(SP?). You really do kinda just wait for his scenes. I really liked him as a villain because you are almost on the fine line of rooting for him. He has a few really funny one liners too.

All in all a pretty enjoyable action flick.

No, just people who might at least once in a while be willing to let themselves actually enjoy something. You might want to give it a try.

Yeah I guess it was a book, and also a Harrison Ford movie back in the day? I hadn't seen it though. Gyllenhaal is good. Sarsgaard is good. I recommend it.

    Twisters 7/10

Lots of poor acting and average script

But a fun movie, great chemistry between the two leads and I left with the hots for Glen Powell (in fairness, I thought he carried the movie)

Yeah, I really liked it too. I highly recommend to anyone when you see a movie of this kind to watch it on the Imax or RPX screen. Awesome visuals AND sound. Well worth the extra $. I saw it on the RPX as well as Dune 2. Makes the movie a more enjoyable experience, imo. Because of that experience, I would probably give it an 8/10.

    Absolutely loved this movie lol

So glad I wasn't spoiled for some of the cameos that popped up. Definitely worth seeing in the theater.

"There only been ONE Blade... there's only ever going to be one Blade!" so good, especially since they were supposed to be done with the new one LAST YEAR.

If I haven’t seen the first 200 Wolverine movies and the dozen Deadpools - will I be lost?
