Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny: 8/10
Really fun matinee movie that brings some nice closure to the series. Pacing is a little off in the second act, and it feels bloated at times, but I really thought they nailed the last act. The whole thing being set in 1969 made for some cool contrasts with an older Indy too. Just done good ol’ fashioned Nazi punching!
Nothing will ever bear the original 3, but this was a great way to end things.
I want to see this but I will always think they missed a good opportunity with the "son of Indy" idea they attempted in the last dumpster fire of a movie.
I always thought Josh Hartnet would have made a great Indy Jr. to continue the franchise. They could have done so much with something like that. I actually thought of Josh Hartnet as Indy Jr. after watching him in Lucky Number Slevin (one of my favorite early 2000's underrated flicks) and I just felt he looked like he could be Harrison Ford's kid and he had the right kind of style for it.
That's a really random thought, I know.

Okay, this is funny. I just googled Josh Hartnett and Harrison Ford and apparently they hate each other. I guess they were in a movie together and despised one another.
Is this common knowledge? I had no idea.

Had no idea what I was going to see and that was so liberating. Didn't know fvkall about that movie. It was a Shake type movie I think.
