"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Just watched Tom Hanks' Greyhound. Shame he had to sell it to Apple, rather than go the theatrical route. Real good movie and worth watching.

    Ford vs. Ferrari - 9.25/10

It's a good movie and all that, but the reason I gave it a 9+ was because of

the scene when Miles looks in the rear view mirror.

    Major feels. Complicated. Loved it.

I watched that movie recently. I gave it a solid 8. I didn't like the clunky dialogue at times.

S'coo. I don't like your clunky face at times.

    Ok. That was a bluff.

    I always like your face.

    Worse, it was a lie.

    Your face isn't even clunky.

I am ok with a ~10% difference in our evaluations of this fine movie.

I didn't notice the clunky dialogue myself. I watched it with the fam, we had some great whole-family laughter.

The dialogue was clunky insofar that the things they said were often phrased to keep the film at its rating.

Oh...yeah. It did mute the intensity of the drama for sure, but my experience was that I preferred a PG-13 type movie.

That's not a bad take. There are always restraints. Personally I don't really believe in the rating system and think it does more harm than good. But, that's just me.

Has anyone seen the movie 'Greyhound' with Tom Hanks? I believe it's on Apple TV.

I may have to give this another look. I couldn't find a reason to get interested - felt like a snoozer.

Watched Free Solo last night. Great documentary, and that guy is a complete psycho.
